[Enjin Archive] claiming town
Started by [E] Zero [2]

I've not seen anyone change region bbstartown or any of its owners in a few weeks+

i would like to claim this town.
I can't understand why there is so many people trying to claim land these days <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f613.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":undecided:">:undecided:</object>

Back in ye ol' days, there was people actually trying to make their own s**t. No offense...

OH WTH AM I SAYING??! I've barely been in minetown for a year...
lol its because i was building at the town site first and bbstar built a town around my project
On a serious note here, all.land claims are on hold. You really should start your own town/region, you will have more satisfaction saying "I did this". Let old bones rest my friend.
I think I may have been working on this town when it started out, however it may be a different town. I do however know that Bbstar was banned and I suggest uploading screenshots of the land!!
For the record, I disagree with land-claims in general. There have been a TON of these since I started playing, I'm happy to hear they are on hold.
I support land claim. Many good spot has been taken by "old" player or some "banned" player leaving their structure abandon.

It is rather claim by someone who can further the town or the project to complete ...and it can add in more beauty to minetown rather than just a ruin of a castle.
plus you guys seem to mis the back that I'm a part of the town and was building in the area first and the town was built around me
So here is how I generally handle land claiming, with a few exceptions:

You need to give the owner at least 3-4 weeks notice before it can be transferred to you, unless the owner was banned. If they don't respond, then you may claim the land. The land cannot be something nice. In that case, you could request to get permission to build so that their land is properly integrated into what you're working on. Also, you can't randomly claim people's land. It has to be land that is getting in the way of something you are already working on. All of this is negotiable, depending on the situation. Therefore, I personally handle land claiming on a case-by-case manner.

I will take a look at the region, and I will get back to you om my suggestion as soon as I made a decision.

Did you start anything near this town? If you just want to take it over, than I cannot allow that. The land around this town is mostly uninhabited, so I'm sure they meant to keep it that way. However, I need to know first if you started anything near.
