Ok so basically, I'm moving to Canada at some point and seeing as there are I dunno, one or two Canadians on this server...

I need to know which NHL team to support. I hear that the Canadian teams are doing awfully of recent, but I'm not fussed. I get the impression that following an American team in Canada won't go down well, but correct me if I'm wrong.

But anyway, what team should I support and why? What team shouldn't I support and why?

I like Jeff Buckley, Politics and Mexican Food... What suits me? o.O

EDIT: I have to say though, I'd rather not the French teams. I've never met people so obnoxious about their roots xD

Oh and I'll bear that in mind. Having said that, no sports team I've ever supported has ever done well so success doesn't mean much to me. Just as long as there's something I can relate to somehow? Meh, I dunno.

I am from Canada, basically most of us (those that like hockey, not as much a religion here as ppl think) cheer for the team closest to them, certainly in the same province. That being said, feel free to cheer for an American team, half the players come from Canada anyway, and no one will drag you in the streets and stone you.

Most people don't realize most hockey players in the NHL are Canadian.
