It's not that f***ing hard, FBI— If you have the DNS servers the infected machines are pointing to, you can easily send all the users a message telling them how to fix their computers' DNS settings.

To be honest, YES I did read it. However, I fail to see the huge issue. Common sense says you protect your computer or you pay the price.
Also, I said nothing about the FBI threatening anyone.
dns spoffing viruses are nothing new. I had to deal with one of them at work. The bugger also disrupted DHCP. it was a real bear to locate the infected machine and disable it. not a new threat...but a pain in the bum nonetheless.
