[Enjin Archive] HTML Help
Started by [E] SloopJB1

So as you know I have been doing some HTML recently and wondered if anyone knows how to turn the index.html into an actual website? Preferably for free? I would also like to avoid any company names within the URL, for example; www.minetown.enjin.com I just want the www.minetown.com

All help is appreciated <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object>
You need to look at Web Hosting providers, such as this http://www.123-reg.co.uk/web-hosting/

But look around, obviously. There are free ones out there but bear in mind they won't be as fast or reliable, nor will they be able to handle higher traffic.
I don't wan't to keep paying per month TPrez though, that's the thing, plus just bought a Zinc scooter so I'm kinda broke <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f61b.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":p">:p</object>
You prob won't find a free stand alone domain name.. but there are relatively inexpensive ones.. ones for like 25-30 per year hosting which is cheap per month, though you do usually have to buy the whole year up front. these have size limits and stuff f course, but it does get your own domain name...

checkout Fatcow.com: pretty good 1st year rate, renewal rates still reasonable and wind powered..
Domain Name:

You pretty much have to buy a domain name. I recommend name.com, I have over 60 domain names with them and got a free beer glass and some stickers.

Hosting:

PM me for 1 year of hosting for ten bucks. Cpanel and not oversold.
