When I have mumble the mumble chat comes through my headphones but the sound of minecraft comes out of my computers speakers

Does anyone know how I can get it so both come through the headphones

If you are using a Mac, I had to adjust both the sound settings in System Preferences to have the headset as the input/output and the Mumble audio wizard to do the same. Windows would likely be similar in making sure the sound settings have your headset/phones as the output. I have to do it every time I connect my headset to the computer. Mac will only switch by default to the headset if it uses the audio jack. The USB headset has to be manually set when you first connect it.

Correct, mumble is independent from system sounds, if you change mumble's output to your headphones your system sounds (e.g minecraft) won't join it.

Mac: System Preferences>Sound>Output

Windows: Control Panel>Sound/Audio etc.>Audio Devices

Still carnt find it I am using windows 7

Try right clicking the sound icon on your toolbar at the bottom right. I can't remember because I don't use Windows, but there will be properties or something in there, open that and change your device.
