I sent an application and it was approved, but when I play it says I still can't do anything. Can anyone help me with this?

have you left the main area and gone to unprotected land? protected areas that you dont have permission in will not allow you to do anything within them. Try going to /warp forest, walk a little ways away and seeing if you can break anything there.

It didn't work. It said I didnt have permission for the area.

Sounds like you are in a protected area. You can ask people in chat for help or use the world map to try and find areas that are not close to others so you can start building.
