What is double posting?

Basically two posts by the same person in a row. Theres an edit button for a reason, and it should be used unless the topic need to be bumped.

but what if you bump a topic because your OCD got the best of you and you needed to fix a error?

Fixing an error would be a good use of the Edit button and I don't think you need to bump the topic for that <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f61b.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":p">:p</object> However, most forums have a legal 48 hour bump rule, so I guess you could anyways.

Unless this forum is different then the ones I usually use, editing doesn't move the topic back up the list, so no, it doesn't bump. Unless, of course, this forum software works differently.
