I'm really REALLY new to this server and I cannot even get into the actual town!

When I login with the ip, it just says this

Connection Lost

Failed to Login: Bad Login

PLZ HELP!

Do you have a premium minecraft account? If so, were you logged into it, within your client? (As in, you logged in, and DIDNT click Play Offline)
