Hey Guys, this is the fix for the white in-game chat some of us get when a new update comes.

Steps:

1. Download the Java Class file.

2. Go to start, Run and type %appdata%

3. Find you .minecraft folder.

4. Go to Bin.

5. Open your Minecraft executable jar file with an archiving programme such as WinRAR or 7Zip.

6. Drag the Class file into your .jar and make sure it is set to 'Add or Replace files'.

7. DELETE META-INF! If you do not do this you will get the dreaded black screen.

8. Run Minecraft and play away with coloured text.

FAQ's:

Q. Why is the class file entitled nl_123456789.class?

A. Not sure but you must rename it to nl.class

Q. I have black screen / it crashed Minecraft?

A. Delete META-INF.
