new player.. been playing local for a little while; first time on mulitplayer. community seems friendly and helpful, so that's a plus.

anything i should be aware of that isn't covered in the tutorial?

also haven't hopped around all the areas, (north/south/east/west) are there major geographical differences?

The tutorial should cover all of the basics of navigating and commands, but you can feel free to ask in global chat if you have a question.

The four directions don't hold strict to the typical north is cold/south is warm/west is desert/east is middle like the earth, but our build team has done an excellent job of designing the warps for those areas to be somewhat true to that.

If I had one suggestion for you, that would be to make sure you use correct grammar (ie spelling, correct comma usage, etc) in chat.
