Once my grammas friend went to egypt and brought me back an embroidered tee shirt with my name in hieroglyphics. My mom threw it away 4 years ago- it was too "Small" :C

Bring me back a camel. Two if you have the space. I'd bring one back from here myself, but apparently here they get really pissed off and throw you in prison for taking peoples' camels. True story maybe.

stay out of cairo if you can. majority of people there are REALLY rude and pushy - alot of them are scammers. when i was there, there were two kids...neither of them could have been over 10...they were standing on opposite sides of a narrow street. they had a wire. when tourists would come down that street, they would pull the wire taught and trip them and then quickly run up and take anything they dropped and scatter off. I watched them do this for around an hour from a cafe on the corner lol

Mac, when I wine t when I was, like, seven I was getting off a boat on the river Nile and was picked up and this guy ran to the top of the hill then put me down and asked for money, peasants had a heart attack
