Brick because of it's refractory properties and because it will increase its demand *evils grin*

I like your reasoning- my clay sales will SKYROCKET! Heheheh, im off to dig all the clay everywhere <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f61b.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":p">:p</object>

Hey, ive got a good idea- can you add brick to the suppliers room? I'd sell 64 brickblocks for 16, and 64 clayblocks for 8-12.

Brick. It contrasts very nicely with sphax and Sandstone stairs are not available =(

Supposedly, once all the bugs are fixed, someone on our dev team is going to work on bring us sandstone stairs and possibly other types of slabs/stairs.

I go with netherbrick. It goes nicely with obsidian, in my opinion. However, if I was allowed a second choice, it would be stone stairs.
red brick or nether brick would look best with the obby imo...

Thats the opposite of what Darth said implied.

Guys, I'm afraid neildotp is correct in this matter. It's one thing to have client mods, but custom block IDs with a vanilla client will choke horribly as soon as the ID is sent to the client (i.e., your building comes into view) and we don't have easy access to "selectively filter and replace the custom block IDs with vanilla block IDs" (nor would something like that be at all easy to implement in the server). Your best bet for this is to petition Jeb to standardize the variations (block, half-slab, double-half-slab, stairs, and fence) for the major material types (stone, cobble, claybrick, stone brick, mossycobble, mossy stone brick, netherbrick, wood, sandstone). Perhaps if someone else has already tackled this issue and has it all working, then it might be feasible, but otherwise this would be a project of several weeks or months, even with someone that was familiar with the appropriate areas of both server and client-side modding to do custom models and block ID filtering.

Buildcraft servers only work when the clients are running the exact same version of all the mods on the server-- that's part of what makes them such a headache, and requiring a custom client to play Minetown is not a route we want to go.
My misunderstanding, Fettuccini. I guess I forgot about that post on that thread. /<object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f61b.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":p">:p</object>
I'm still crossing my fingers to have sandstone stairs added in 1.3 though.
Me too... they better, or I'll cry for the first time in seven years, haha.
Mine seems to complain the construction is not quite right. There was not lava in the device when the change happened.

I get the same error

Edit: We've tried both changing the stairs and replacing the sign as well as a complete rebuild. Same error.
