Greetings Minetownians,

With Christmas almost around the corner (yes I said Christmas, don't kill me) I'm super eager in getting a real gaming console besides a Nintendo. That's all I've ever had. I've been very happy with them, but I wanna get into more bigger games, like Fallout 4, BattleFront and HALO 5. My biggest deli-ma has been which console to get. XBOX ONE or PS4? It's so hard to decide. Both great consoles. I'd love to hear what the citizens of Minetown vote for.

If you have a strong opinion over the other, I'd love to know about it, besides you being biased towards a console.

It depends on what you previously have. The Xbox one is slowly becoming backwards compatible where as the PS4 is not, nor do they apparently plan on making it completely backwards compatible ever. If you have other Xbox games well then the Xbox would be "I get more bang from my buck" sorta thing.

I've always been a Playstation player when it came to consoles, but I was very disappointed to hear that, while at most they may put some old games in the playstation arcade thing, I basically have to keep all of my consoles out if I want to play older games or take a trip down memory lane.

While big titles like Fallout, Call of Duty, blah blah blah will be available on all systems, you really have to look at the unique titles each system has to decide which one you enjoy more. I prefer RPGs more than 1st person shooters so I tend to lean more towards Playstation because they have more games.

Granted, PC kind of the middle man, but as far as consoles go they both have pluses and negatives that depend on the kind of gamer you are.
