I was exploring a large cave system and came to a set of stairs leading to a property. There is no defined region on it, but I was able to find the owner by clicking on a chest(at least I'm assuming that's the owner). I looked him up on here and he hasn't been on in two weeks. How long until it is officially declared abandoned so I can use it as a base? Or is there no time frame? I'm not sure on the rules.

Put I sign in the house

Make a forum post

Try and forum MSG them

Then wait two weeks

If they don't reply then you can have it if they do bad luck

Well it has been two weeks i would (Personally) contact a mod/admin and ask them about this property and see if this person really has been gone for the certain amount of time or either they were banned. The mods/admins will go through the chest and take items that will inflate the Economy and then the property will be yours.. So i guess just contact a mod.

Thats a good question, i often wonder that as well..

It would help if we knew the name of the player so we can check the server logs. The forum isn't always the best instrument for seeing if someone is active... Not everyone gets on the forums every day.
