To find the bin folder is really easy on windows just click anywhere on your desktop once and hold down the windows logo key on your key board (It's in between the Ctrl and Alt key on the bottom left hand corner of your keyboard) and press R a little window called Run should have come up. In there you will see everything that has todo with minecraft including your bin folder. Place the minecraft.jar that you just downloaded in to the bin. Replace the old minecraft.jar
