Windows 7 Professional
AMD FX 8-core @ (box doesn't say, and too busy to do a switch as I'm using the i7 right now) AND an i7 @ 3.4GHz
16GB Ram and 12 GB (one more stick still in the mail, another 4GB)
ASUS M5A99X and Gigabyte Motherboard GA-G1
GeForce GTX 560 Ti and AMD Radeon HD 7950
Two Colossus Cascade 1 TB SSD (OMG you have no idea how much space data can take up, already filled up 800GB in like 3 months of research, lmao).
5 monitors
Luckily... one entire system and two monitors were free to me by the school, one system and two more monitors free to me via a company buying me off (lolol, take advantage of them while I can... then again, they pay for my research and get half the rights, so meh... at least it's progress) and one monitor I had already from my old system, which I still have... just a crap hp with built in everything.
If you didn't know, simulations require pretty good graphic cards... if only I could get Crisis 2 for free... hahahaha, maybe I'd be able to run it on medium quality without any lag.
Sorry Sayomie, you put your specs... I wanted to put mine. /<object class="emojione" data="

Which system of these two should I give up? The AMD is great because it's 8core and can run my simulations pretty damn well, but I think the i7 is better for gaming since ithas the GeForce (which I prefer to AMD graphics, idk why).
Also, if you have a mac... good luck being able to upgrade it anywhere near what even Sayomie has. My friend has a mac and she can't even upgrade that well because mac doesn't make that good of processors as compared to pc, she says.
