I'm not one of these douches who fiercely fights the corner of their chosen operating system.

I adore both of them, to be perfectly honest.

Windows is ideal for gaming and general use, and in some aspects is a hell of a lot more simple than a Mac, provided you don't delve too deep. It is also heavily customisable and as for the hardware itself, the possibilities are endless.

OS X, on the other hand, is my operating system of choice. I produce music, and use Logic Pro which is only available on this operating system, it's the industry standard. The hardware inside a Mac is, I must agree, overpriced, but you are paying for a well-known object of desire which (let's face it) will last a lot longer than a Windows rig.

This is why I love them both. In my line of work, I cannot possibly find a recording studio without both a windows custombuild and a Mac Pro. It's the way of the world.

Big respect for the teams at both companies!

PC due to the fact I dont like overpaying for products that are purposely released with outdated technology.

Personal Computers were abbreviated by the Windows team to PC and that term covers anything with their operating system on it.

Also stick a mouse in and you'll be fine!

I use both equally. I would not waste money on an apple desktop of any sort-- Likewise, they don't make windows laptops with 8-hour batteries. Windows is my primary OS by far, but I'm equally comfortable in OS X or linux. Slightly less comfortable with BSD, but I can still get myself around quite nicely.

Ya my only computer is a laptop, have a wireless mouse hooked up to it at all times and have the touchpad disabled. I do like apple products tho otherwise I wouldnt have owned just about every generation of ipod they've made all of them but 1 still work and thats cuz i left it in my car on a 100 degree day.

One other point regarding macs, I cannot express how eco-friendly they are. Not that that's of massive concern to me..

One of the best features regarding this is the fact that when it is fully charged, it will stop charging. It is VERY hard to find a Windows Laptop that does this, makes your battery last a hell of a lot longer and doesn't kill pandas in China with wasteful power consumption.

Actually i have a Macbook and i use the Trackpad.. You just need to configure right clicking for the Trackpad to make it work..

And now onto the Poll i think u should add a Both button personally i like Macintosh's for work related items papers, projects, more useful items.. I like PC's for Gaming and thats pretty much it. They both are equally good in my eyes.
