This is technically not incorrect when you put it in a Yoda meme.

Actually, it is. If you study Yodish, you'll find that the sentence structure doesn't follow modern english rules, but still holds a very strong resemblance to old english. Yoda typically follows a different ordering of words: Object-Subject-Verb. This being said, there are also multiple ways that this statement could be translated to Yodish, the next most likely being "For you have not logic", which resembles old english even stronger than the original translation.

I will have to disagree with you on this one.

You have presented two arguments:

- Yodish typically follows a different ordering of words: Object-Subject-Verb.

- Yodish holds a very strong resemblance to old english

In the case of the sentence ''For logic you not have'', it does infact follow the first rule, while the sentence ''For you have not logic'' only follows the second rule. The first rule is more important due to the fact that we can't prove Yoda's connection to the 19th century, or any other reason that he might choose to speak something that somewhat resembles ''old english'', while we can prove that yoda does infact follow this order of words most of the time.

Therefore I find it way more important to follow the Yodish order of words, rather than old english. And Had the other been the case, you could infact make the argument that Shakespeare spoke Yodish.

The first argument I made of the ordering is that it would follow Object Subject Verb, and it should, which would be Logic (object) You (subject) Have(verb) not(adverb). Also, secondly, I stated that Yodish bears a resemblance to old english in every instance of canon script that comes to mind, so it would be safe to assume that 1: this situation should be no different, and 2: Yes, there is a good possibility that Shakespeare could speak Yodish, and may have, in fact, been an alien himself.
guiz plz iz just a meme!!1
