Takes me FOREVER to find a nether fortress and the damn spawner DUN BEEN STOLE T_T

Yeah, yesterday I spend a few hours walking out to 6000 squares to find pristine netherland (pun intended) generated in 1.0 with a nether fort in it... Gotten two spawners out of it so far, but it's totally unexplored territory so there will be more in adjacent forts... My advice is to just go in one direction away from spawn until you stop seeing signs of human activity, and only then allow yourself to explore other directions... I don't know if the nether is carrying pre-1.0 lands or not, but I was indeed struck by the lack of anything fortressy closer than 5500 blocks. Maybe we should get a nether wipe with the next update? No one can get protection there anyways, so I don't see a problem with wiping it...
