i think minetown is goin to crap lately, everything is falling apart! i cant go offline or ill die! while offline!!!

That's not a server issue, it's a matter of you needing to update your client/texture pack.

Normally if there is something not included in my texture pack it comes up as a pink/purple colour!! Also I have the latest version of my texture pack (updated for 1.1)!!

Open your texture pack, go to the terrain.jpg file, if there are a lot of brown squares at the bottom, blame the texture pack (in which case, download it from somewhere else, if not, send me the terrain.jpg and I'll edit it to work)

if the squares are purple, it's definitely to do with either the client or the server, although I can't honestly see how the server would do that. What is the item supposed to be?
