So... no offense but you're being a pretty egotistical dick by saying that, Madster. "Popular" is an ambiguous word, in the case that you're using it. Basically, you're saying "I only want players that I like, everyone else screw off." I'm not saying you should have me on this "team," but now I wouldn't want to reading your most recent post.
As well, if you only do mods and the players you like best, you're not showing what Minetown is about. I don't support this "series" as a representation of Minetown if you won't show a reflection of Minetown. And yes, I expect a dimwitted response... "reflection" here does NOT mean places in different parts of the map. It means player base, map, etc. Everything. You've chosen 4 people, who are all close to each other on this server. You're the odd one out, Madster. Would we call the server "small circle of mods and my favorite players... and me" or what? "Me" referring to you, Madster.
Yes, I'm being a dick right now. Mostly, because you asked for it. Don't make a representation of Minetown if you're not at least willing to show what Minetown is (literal and metaphorical meanings). Yes, you could easily go around and show people builds... you could do that alone. Why do you need people for that? You asked for PEOPLE. Please re-edit your OP to say "Mods and very popular players that I like need only apply, everyone else please don't post." That is what your most recent post said, anyways.
Having familiarity with people is meaningless. How do big actors make it into huge roles? They start from the very bottom. That is what you're trying to do for yourself, but you're trying to hog up everything to yourself. You're a completely unknown player to 90% of the community, I would bet. If I haven't even heard of you before this post, then you're definitely not even meeting the qualifications you set out for everyone else. I practically live on the forums, and I hear just about everything.
Basically, here's my points: 1. don't go being a pretentious dick. 2. learn to set qualifications that you, yourself, can meet. 3. learn to portray the server as a whole, not just a small sect (not saying to have everyone in the series, but have different types of people. You don't have to have dicks, grievers, mods, donors and all that, but don't limit it to your favorite people and mods).
And now, I take my leave.
