im sorta two sided on this, While I agree that you have done the right thing by not giving into this duping fiasco, I do belive that this situtation should of been handled a little better.. Instead of calling people out on the forums and putting in a list of people who have asked or have seen the glitch or whatever the case may be.. (IE: sending a forum message to a in-game mod, with a list of the people with actual screenshots)

Screenshots to me provide proof for one thing, Seeing a post about calling people out with obvious self written text, is very unnerving to me for many different reasons...

I will not say what kind of impressions it leaves on me, but i will say that even if this was happening or is happening, i would not take self written text about someone elses crime as evidence...

I'd say you should get some real screenshots, or at least check the logs and post shots about those, however I advise moving this matter off a public board before it gets out of hand.

I would normally agree with you... This kinda falls under here-say but the logs don't lie. It is obvious that a few members came across a large amount of spawners in a very short amount of time and were selling them for a profit.

As for the public name dropping, that's exactly how it happens in real life. Someone sees someone else do something wrong and that person calls them out on it. I see it on the news everyday! Besides, it's not like we wouldn't know what was happening when these people made their ban appeals.

I mean you said these people were your friends? I know that if 8x8johan or savage1106 or any other of my good freinds messaged me something like this id tell them not to be an idiot and throw the stuff in lava or something.... i wouldnt go and make a thread trying to get them banned. Thats going a length too far as an honest person

Part of the reason im so angry about this is because ive encountered about 10 spawners in the Guestworld. People have accused me of duping and X-Ray, when i fought about a zillion cave spiders getting them.

I also found a couple in the Underwater Mineshaft ive found near /warp scuba. There was a whole dungeon exposed! The chests and spawners were buried in sand- its the coolest thing. I couldnt really tell sadly. I have this annoying glitch where colours dont show- its all white or a really really pale version of the colour if its a darker one.

Well maybe... i dont know, but I did give them a chance. I told them to not do it and that they'd be banned. If they continued to ask me to dupe after the warning i reported them.

Is there any way for me to check the logs? I tried to copy them word for word. I agree screenshots would have been better proof.

For starts, Pokemon, I don't hold a grudge, I wont hate you for it, to be honest I don't know what got into me. I took it this duplication glitch was allowed, well I thought it was until people started ranting about it. I was hoping to make a pig farm, got it wrong and employed Pokemon to fix it for me. As for as I am aware though Irethena disposed of the spawners for me. When Pokemon telled me it was a bannable offence I called Irethena over and she sorted it. Later Heiwasin came on request and said I wasn't the 'Duper' they wanted so I could rest easy. I took this that I was okay to continue my normal life.

Pokemon has copied what I said pretty much, word for word.

Sorry Minetown, I thought it was just a little glitch and I will not exploit again. Irethena has talked to me and I had a load of abuse from Cryston.

Because it appears I am public enemy number one I have decided to lay low and temporary quit for a week or so.

First off I knew something was up with spawners. All of a sudden people are selling stacks of spawners when two days earlier it they were really hard to find. My opinion here is they should all be perma banned. The above quote is a really poor excuse. Just because no one knows about the dupe glitch doesn't mean that its allowed. This statement is proof had people not started ranting you would still be doing this.

Rob a bank but when the cops get close just return the money and say sorry didn't know it was against the law. I really hope staff takes care of those involved just like they did with MonstheSexy and associates. Pokemon you have my respect. You have done the right thing here and yes some people might not like it but all well. Cheaters shouldn't be allowed whether they are your friends or popular on the server.

I agree with coffeey on this one. When my minetown friends do something bannable, I would, if anything, make a pe to explain. There's nothing worse than a grass in my books, especially when you're making out that you've done something to be incredibly proud of.

That aside, well done for doing the right thing and reporting it, one way or another.
