It will be good on ps3 but what's the point of getting it if you already have pc minecraft?

I have heard/read that it will be cross-platform. Ye, I probably wouldn't get it on PS3, it's probably more for people who don't have decent enough computers or who prefer playing on consoles, as was the case with me about a year ago <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object>

It would be pretty sweet if you could still connect toyour normal server with it. Since mods are server only (for the most part) I dont see why I couldnt still connect to minetown from my xbox.

Yer, the only problem would be any compatability issues that there may be. But ye, it would be quite hard to get mods on the xbox without going on a PC run server, unless someone put mods in the marketplace.

Well, they're almost the same, seeing as the software (Windows <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f61b.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":p">:p</object>) is made by the same company. I guess it's more down to how you prefer to control the game.
