Hello guys, I'm new here.

So after my application was accepted I got on the server and gave myself a mini tour around. What I notice though is that there is no easy way to access the lands beyond the built cities , ie you can currently warp only to overly populated or ongoing cities/projects.

However I would like to go to a fairly fresh land, that still has it's trees and animals (so I can at last kill some cows!) and resources. So is there a warp/town/whatever I am missing, or I just have to discover which town is further away, warp there, and then walk to the promised land?

warps are generally only to populated/taken land, generally just walking does the trick.

are there any warps from where I can easily get to a suitable land?

also, is there a way to know were each town is on the world map? (I mean the map accessible from the site). it doesn't seem to have coordinates or labels or anything.

The new map does not have any way to tell exactly where a town is. However, you could have the map open on one side of the screen and the game on the other, and play. The map updates player data ever 7 or so seconds, however buildings are only updated around once every 24 hours (according to what I've been told, however I believe it to be longer than 24 hour updates on terrain/building updates). So while both are open, you can keep walking and keep track of your progress on the map. That's how I find a lot of places I go to build.

No problem. A word of advice, though. If you go to a part of the map that is NOT explored yet, don't explore too fast. It will cause the server to crash if there is a lot of people exploring different parts too fast. However, this sever is great, don't get me wrong. There are plenty of areas, though, to build on in the areas that have already been explored.

some word of advice:

If you ever come across a house that is not protected please dont assume it is abandoned because most of the time it isnt.

Also goes the same for chests. If you find an unprotected chest dont steal from it.

nah, im on the real world now, I reached the edge of land and came across the vast ocean. Im stationed there for a while, to gather supplies for the journey to some new terrain!

I did some side digging work-no matter how hippie yo are, you still need your d's hehe.

btw, the combo bonemeal+seeds is a great thing until you get a pair of shears and rape those leaves for apples ^^

but when you do get back from there, hit me with an msg, going to far away lands is always better with company
