I had done a forest clearing job for him in exchange for 20g. Now he says he's only giving me 10g because the didnt get as much wood as he wanted, and that i was helping Rosie in the end. I had previously lost the wood and in turn returned to him more than i collected on the job, but he still says no, im not getting full pay. He even threatened to give me nothing because i was on "rosies side" in the end PVP.

Pokemon that sucks a lot and off contract deals really are those "is the guy going to pay me the right amount" kinda of trust issues. I say if you ask him again and tell him you promised 20g. But if he doesn't i guess your SOL sorry.

yea, unfortunately this happens a lot...people need to pay what they say for the job assigned. If they pay you by an area, there should be no question of payment, if they pay you by amount harvested, those terms should be handled before beginning. This kind of thing is what blacklists certain people from being hired or trusted as employees in the future. If it becomes a serious issue, catch me and ill sort things out. I know its more a matter of principal than they pay, but I do agree that people like this should have some form of punishment for these problems.

You know what I find helpful? You should make a thread so people can see the actual terms (before the job starts, that is). This way, when the job is finished and they pay you, they're pretty much forced to pay you the correct amount.

EDIT: Love those down votes for giving a legitimate opinion, that is proven to work (since a public contract is abiding and can result in punishment if it isn't carried out).

Or what I do is take a screenshot of them agreeing to pay you a certain amount. Then, if they don't pay it, then you can have some refuting proof that they promised a certain amount.
