Reason you were banned: griefing a (somewhat) random building?

Hey i found this building a couple thousand blocks from my Town (Megaton) it had netherbrick and sandstone, i had seen no sign, nor any indication anyone had been there, so i mined the Netherbrick and sandstone, along with some wool. I didnt realize someone must have been actually working on it. I'd like to apologize to who ever owned the building and i will give back the materials i had taken if the banhammer is lifted.
