[Enjin Archive] The protection system..
Started by Unknown User

Hello,

I'm just a Guest as of now but i would still really like to know how the protection works. So i would juts type /ps "can an admin scure my land?" and then what? a mod/ admin comes along a claims the empty land you asked for, for free?

Is there a price involved? What plugin are you using for this? how big can you ask to be protected?

Anyone that can shed the light on the matter would be great. <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object> Thanks.
You use a petition system where you type /pe open if you're a guest you can't get things protected, but once you become a member you can go into the main world and find somewhere to build. Usually it takes a while to find an empty spot if you start from spawn. Once you do find an empty spot, you can start to build on it. Once you've built something the mods or admins will protect it - at least, this is usually the case. If you're too close to someone else's area they may not. Use '/pe open can I please get this area protected' or something along those lines, while standing near or in where you want protected, so they will be able to find it. Using dirt markers is helpful to them too. This is how it worked for me several months ago when I started. Things may have changed slightly since then, but I think it's pretty much right. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Protection size is pretty easy, if you're a donator of I think $20 or more you get infinite protections. If not, you can still have protections made. Make sure they're not too large and you should be fine (for example, protecting a medium to large house and farm should be okay)

It is free to get land protected

Hope this helps <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object>

Thanks you very much for helping me out <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object> i'm pretty sure you cleared all my questions away and I now have a full understanding of the system. Thanks again!
You type in /pe open <message>. For me, I usually type:

/pe open Could you please open land protection within the walls provided and call it this. Thanks.

It is always free. "This" was just something as an example. It can be anything, I think. Just make sure you make the /pe where you want the protection. Often times, put signs up right where you make the /pe (as in the place you stand when you press /pe open) to elaborate. You cannot have a private protection, I don't think, as just a member. Although, a member can get a protection in his/her name if it is for a city. People who donate get unlimited protections.

The same thing applies to warps. Just stand in the place where you want to warp. As in, make sure where you stand when you type /pe open is exactly where you want the warp. Warps are free also, but only for city/shop use for a regular member. Unlimited for those who donate. Oh, you can get warps to structures that need a warp. For example I made my own vault in which I asked for a warp, though this vault is for my city's funds.
And Nic beat me. <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/2639.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":(">:(</object>
