Obviously you haven't been around long. Otherwise you would know staff rarely wins the lottery and I *often* encourage people to join the lottery. Since the lottery switched to credits, this is only the second time I've won. And before credits, well, I was a regular member and won several times. So there's no "bonus fortune" for staff, just the same luck as everyone else.
