yes, when there's lag and mostly in multiplayer squids will appear to keep swimming in one direction, that is their sprite.

However, their actual existence resides in the body they contain in the physical plane.

Said body in the physical plane is connected to a separate container in the mental plane.

Even still, their consciousness exists only in the virtual plane.

When you see the squids in the air, you can surely tell that they are in the air plane.

if i had one in game id give it to you but i havent mined any yet and i have a lot of trouble getting a connection to multiplayer these days as well
