I am new to public multiplayer and submitted my application to MineTown about 2 weeks ago. I was wonder how long the normal wait time is, or if I have already been rejected already.

Try submitting another application, usually it will let you know when it has been accepted or not on the forums and it has about a 48 wait time at max.
