If you use Firefox because you enjoy not being raped by vicious javascript and obtrusive ads (Thanks to NoScript and Adblockplus, which do not exist in their entirety on chrome) get AdBlockPlus and block
http://kirupa.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/snow.js as I did. You will get a nice improvement. I'm currently working on a Stylish theme for FF Minetown guests who would like to browse with a bit less eye candy all around in exchange for performance.

Good idea. Although what disappointed me the most is that even the mouse over link glow is laggy on FF.
And lets not even mention IE, that simply don't display any glow or transition effect >_>.
i like FF cus of the themes and stuff, I know Chrome has all of that, but I just like FF more. I may dl chrome though if my FF acts up again (it wouldnt load pages, everything else on my laptop w/ internet worked, just FF didnt)
Personally, I'm a big fan of Google Chrome. Mozilla takes about 4 seconds to start up while Chrome is instant on my computer. I've never had issues with either of them though, I like Google Chrome better for HTML pages though because it refreshes slightly faster. Just my opinion though.

I was just looking at the web store and you can do it with Chrome too ^^:
