I had tried /mvtp world earlier, but didn't think to try it after the comment about the server. This time it worked. Thanks!!!

Having the same issue. cant chat, triead all commands "/spawn" "/kill" "/suicide" still free falling in the void.

Edit: Just tried sayomie's suggestion. worked like a charm. much thanks
