Women are complicated, more so than the average man, at least emotionally so and in my experience.

In my opinion, she is either trying to provoke a reaction from you by saying that, or she already has cheated and is satisfying some neurotic need to both tell you and unburden herself, and not tell you to spare your feelings and hold off the guilt over being a "cheater."

Either way, it's bad.
