This is a Minecraft-recreation of a painting by M.C. Escher. The original painting can be seen here:



Additional information:

I had to add lighting not seen in the picture as Minecraft is generally rather dark with things. The creation as a whole is meant to be viewed from in front of the signs I have posted, AKA right on the warp, however going and exploring the creation will reveal a bit more to it.

I hope you like it, we didn't actually have enough time to finish, we did our best

OK, so this is my project. ----The Improved City of White Knights----

If you will not accept my renovated city to be a project, then you can accept my museum to be the project, because that was my plan before I added the renovation of the city to it.

My project is a huge piece of land made to become a thriving city. It has a museum, altar, church, shop lots, and residential lots. Although my city is only 1/8 done, the museum is the main part of my Epic Builds.

NOTICE: The big white castle is NOT a part of my project. Only the improved parts of the city are. (stone slab streets, church, museum, shop lots, residential lot) Unlike other projects that were started in the middle of the month, I started this once this thread opened.

The pictures you will see will be of the museum, then to the streets, then the church.

I spent about 6 stacks of gold blocks on this, (mostly for stone because of the streets, church, and the museum castle)

I used about 7 doublechests of stone, 20 stacks of snow, 29 stacks of wool, 2 stacks of diamond ore, and a LOT of dirt.

If you count how much I paid people to level the area for me, you can add another stack of gold blocks to my total cost.

I think I spent about 2-4 days worth of placing blocks, leveling, and taking pictures.

The creation is a fortress with the main focus being on the Storage Facility located in the back of the main warp. It is designed to be fully stocked and filled. You'll also notice the Main Gate, Redstone Creation Room, the Main Keep (still under construction). Well its time to post mine

i leveled a pit down to bedrock, had the bottom smoothed, then had lava placed on top of that, the walls are entirely made of smoothstone. then i built the 4 outer towers, all with lit netherack on top, and then cam the central tower with 4 gold-block chains connecting them, giving the impression of a tower suspended by the chains, warp there is mikelstower
