Not all iOS apps become popular, most small developed apps get lost in the app store forever.
Well, I think you're not that good in dealing with marketing stuff, but I've been working for several app development studios and helped them out getting popular. It's just a question how you promote the app.
First of all: sawine will do (i hope so) a sticky post on the main page announcing the app and that it is now available FREE to download. Almost everyone who's active playing and owns an iPhone, iPod touch or even iPad (you can run iPhone apps on iPad as well) will download the app, no matter if they really need it or not. And they'll rate the app, to support Minetown. With 4-5 star ratings, the app becomes even more popular and it can raise the charts. Who says it won't?
And if you guys won't use the app and if you won't be interested in it, it's absolutely OKAY for me and others. But please stop hating about the project. iGackt, I guess you have never started developing an iOS App in Obj-C, one of the most difficult to learn languages. You don't know how much time I investigate in this project, and I don't charge a penny for it. So please stop hating, I know you just want to raise your post count, but please bug other people. Thanks.
