Alright, I know it's hard to break free from your favorite texture, whether it's default (the horror! <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f600.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":d">:d</object> ) or something else. However, in the spirit of Autumn I've dug up couple cool texture packs for people to try, in the basic themes associated with autumn (harvest, decay, horror). Even if you revert back to your good ole reliable, at least pick one to explore with for a day. Perhaps try them all out and be fully prepared for the Halloween event. <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f609.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=";-)">;-)</object>
All links (pack titles) point to an info page and/or customizer rather than direct download. You know, so you can see important info. Make sure you either use Spoutcraft (includes Optifine) or a patched client (MCPatcher) with textures 32px and up (otherwise you'll have glitched graphics). You may want a patched client for 16px as well (custom water/lava animations).
Joliween 16px
Official variant of Jolicraft. An Autumn-slightly-Halloween theme.
PainterlyPack 16px
This is actually a huge, independently-hosted customizer, but it includes a quick Halloween option. The pig is a lie.
Gloomy World 32px
Mostly grayscale/sepia toned with selective splashes of color. May need to increase client brightness.
Derelict 64px
Like everything is going to waste. A sort of post-apocolyptic it could have been nature or it could have been us. Keeps the overall "feel" of minecraft (wood is wood, diamonds are diamonds, etc).
Last Days 32px
It was us. We bombed the hell out of shit and we're proud of it. Leaves original feel of Minecraft behind (inject your veins with...hell if I know).
