Ive seen no need to join a faction yet, means I dont make faction enemies and I can chose sides to fight for.

I'm the eternal factionless. I try to invite people to the sphere and other of my projects but it's just for the person not to build a group out of it. I wanted long ago to make an ultimate builders club, but it's really hard to ensure any group like that isn't turned into a huge mess. I now pick up builders for short hires and then let them go. I am both a hermit and a fisherman. I catch and release the builders i like but otherwise just build on my own away from other people.

Would be nice for there to be competitions against other factions.

Like for example, most creative design involving a faction community design.
