Nah, I tried other servers and they are either way too demanding/strict, or way too amateur. Minetown has a nice professional staff but also gives you the freedom to do what you want.

when i joined, it was the fact there was a tight knit community of about 7 people, who everyone knew each other and everyone was friendly, after that when the server had started to grow, it was because of some of the newer people that joined that made this server so fun to play in, at a time before the chat was spammed by guests

I really liked the map, and of course the community. Despite all of the rules, it's pretty much freebuild, so you don't have to worry about keeping things RPG like some servers. Also at the time there was no whitelist, so I didn't have to pay. Then I got mod, so there was no reason to leave.

For me, I would have to say the reason I stayed, was because of the promise, the prospect, the Idea I had for many months to build a mega city. That idea I tried in New Canada, where I met both Tibbs and Omega, which sadly that server didn't last long.

And it was Omega that told me about Minetown, and urged me and Tibbs to join it. Which I am grateful We did.

But here, on Minetown. I founded Millenium City with Tibbs. We also built the First Ever Rail System that linked some towns/cities together, even tho I neglected the project for a few months in favor of building the city.

And, I've established a name for myself here, as both a respected person, but also as a Power Hungry Mayor that Owns Millenium City.. xD

I saw this server on extreme top 100 one of the top server like number 6 at the time.

1)Because when i joined i say the warp to the warp lounge and i saw the many citys. the other servers i was on had only like 4 or 3 citys.It was a adventure to look at them all

2)How this server is a freebuild in some parts but u can have protections and never get griefed.

3)I dont lag alot

I just got minecraft and found minetown on google. I didn't know how to find another server for a few months, but by then, I was used to the way MInetown did things.
