So, im sure everyone has been to the nether and back, but has anyone actually been to the far lands? If you have not heard of it , in brief its the area past the infinite map where chunks generate differently and form weird 'stacks'

Its about 820ish hours of walking away from the spawn as its some 12.5 million + meters away.

Yeah, I managed to tp out to the "Far Lands." It lagged the hell out my computer trying to generate the chunks past what the random generator can handle, it made items like drift away from me, and what I saw was kinda like the first two pics. Never been to the far lands, also not the first time i see footage from there. Have you ever tried going out there? It's REALLY hard to get a screenshot, even on a good computer. I'll try to post one if I can get a good one. What masta said, it crashes minecraft going there unless you have a top end computer, plus not everyone on the forums wants to go onto the wiki to look stuff up so some screenshots are there.

Aha yes I mentioned this when I very first started this server. A guy called Kurt is making the attempt to walk to the farlands without any modifications or cheats on http://farlandsorbust.com/ for a charity called Childs Play.

I thought it was pretty epic because if he dies he'll need to go back to the beginning.

If you think thats nothing then read up on the wiki, it will take 820 real time hours to walk from the centre of the map to the farlands.
