[Enjin Archive] Would this be breaking a rule?
Started by [E] Phragmipedium

With the introduction of new biomes, I was wondering if breaking bedrock with Dark Oak is considered a rule break, being as Mojang will probably patch this at some point. It's not a duplication glitch, but it does allow access to a previously inaccessible area.

On a related note, what about enderpearling to the void on top of the nether? Is this allowed?
I'm pretty sure since this is exploiting a glitch in the game, it is not allowed. Granted I'm not the rule maker or anything...but it sounds wrong so I'm gonna say No, don't do it.
Any type of Glitch is against the rules. So using Darkoak to destory bedrock.. don't do it.. and enderpearling to get into the void on top of the nether.. don't do it

So yeah its against the rules
YouFoundMe, as I was previously informed, by an upper staff member, enderpearling to the top of the void is not against the rules, most likely becaue it does not pose an advantage to a specific player because it is accessible to all players, but dont take my word for it, im not 100% sure
Well, enderpearling to the top of the Nether doesn't work. Wasted a bunch of pearls trying. While it may not be banned, it doesn't work - I kept getting stuck inside bedrock, which was interpreted as being "in combat", and you can't use enderpearls while in combat - so you can pearl INTO bedrock, just not THROUGH bedrock. On the plus side, it was a quick death(s).
*cough/jumptocough*
Unfortunately at this time staff overall has established building ontop of the nether is a no. Most of the ways to get up there are techincally exploiting glitches, which is not allowed on the server.
Why would enderpearling or whatever you call it be against the rules? It's been in the game since you could do it.. and obviously mojang hasnt patched being able to get onto the top of the nether. Regardless, you can't build up there anyways.
Although you may possess the ability, it is not something that is to be allowed. So technically...no, you cannot build up there.

you used to not be able to build up there but when they extended the build limit, you can now build on the roof of the nether

Wait, I thought this was always allowed?
