I 100% agree with this. Needs to be done. 10min afk limit, then kick. 20min for Donators. This would reduce lag and the demand on the plugins. Big Vote Up for Me!

Lag = Number of Players X Number of Plugins X Average Ping of Players. Editing any one of those factors will reduce lag in general.

Um, most you guys wont be kicked. I highly doubt ur ping is anywhere near 250. I'm from New Zealand, and mines 120 on average. This would just eliminate the few people who ARE trying to play on a TERRIBLE connection, which slows the server down.

Considering the server is running Xeon cores and raid SSD's, I doubt any new hardware you get could make too much more of a difference. I could be wrong tho, there are some rather expensive PCI-E SSD's that cache off a m-sata SSD. That'd be some mean read/write speeds. MC reads and writes like Shakespeare on Ecstasy, Speed and Coffee.

I suggest you filter out players who have a high ping. Anyone with a ping exceeding an AVERAGE of 200-250* (maybe 300) would be kicked automatically. (To prevent auto-kicks of short-burst spikes, the high ping must average over 250 for atleast 2mins) Donators would be excluded from this filter, and allowed to play regardless of ping This would GREATLY combat the bandwidth based lag that happens when too many players are on. *250 would be the optimal number. Most modern broadband connections are capable of under 100, so this would not affect most players.
