Started by [E] sawine

Hello everyone,

I'm going to make this small thread about downgrading because everytime there is a minecraft update it's always the same questions and topic coming back.

I found a small and easy program that allows you to downgrade to any minecraft version you want.

Its called Craftback, made by Artemis.

Type: Other

Risk Impact: High

Systems Affected: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows NT, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000 BehaviorWS.Reputation.1 is a detection for files that have a low reputation score based on analyzing data from Symantec’s community of users and therefore are likely to be security risks. Detections of this type are based on Symantec’s reputation-based security technology. Because this detection is based on a reputation score, it does not represent a specific class of threat like adware or spyware, but instead applies to all threat categories.

The reputation-based system uses "the wisdom of crowds" (Symantec’s tens of millions of end users) connected to cloud-based intelligence to compute a reputation score for an application, and in the process identify malicious software in an entirely new way beyond traditional signatures and behavior-based detection techniques.
When only 2 antivirus out of 45 detects problems, its usually safe.

Those are probably because this .exe modify your game, so some antivirus could detect it as a threat because of the type of action it does.

Just like lineage2 game itself was detected as a virus by some antivirus >_>

To me this program is clean lol, I'm not forcing anyone to use it, it's your choice <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object>

You can always ask a friend to send you his 1.6 jar file.
Lulz ffing Notron
Norton's approach to anti-virus is pretty much if nothing can happen then you cant get a virus..
does this come in engish?
I made a tutorial to craftback.

X that, once you click prevent the update, you can close craftback. But to update you will have to open it again and click the "Force the update" option
i cant use craftback it says that i cant use it on windows7
