Ive had this problem for the past 2 weeks, every time i try to connect to mc.minetown.net , i just get 'Connecting to the server...' message indefinatly, does anyone know how to fix this?

redownload the client? although your going to need a 1.6.6 version, 1.7 is really buggy

you didnt help, i deleted .minecraft, redownloaded minecraft, then downgraded to 1.6.6 to fix it
