As with the rest of Minetown's servers, Pearl has been updated to partial 1.7 version of Minecraft. This is not a normal server build, but a "duck tape" version to allow people to connect with updated clients. Due to this, the current bugs and bugs of a real 1.7.2 server version may be different.

Current Alerts

- Most 1.7.2 features are not functional, this means no new blocks, biomes, or other apsects.

- Text in chat does lose formatting when it goes to a second line

Reporting New Problems

If you have found a new bug that could be related to 1.7 and it's very easily described, making a petition in game or replying here is fine. If a bug is a bit larger or more detailed, please do reply on this thread instead of making a petition.

Two issues I have found on Pearl:

Can't fish.

Buy Sun weather not working.

This might be an issue, since the faux 1.7.x. I have noticed this little weather anomaly it is raining in a 4 block radius and all around it is snowing. This is not a snow biome and the snow does not build up.

This has been around for quite some time now. It happens everywhere, even in single player.

I might happen everywhere but I have never seen snow where this pic was taken before the update, maybe just miss it.

Ive seen this too, I suppose it only happens when its precipitating, which it only does on Classic, cause we hog all da precip, and thunder!
