Pearl is showing up as Ver 1.6.2 Is it me or the server?

Minecraft just updated about an hour ago. It will take few more hours before updates for the server are out.
Using the latest Mojang client, you can downgrade to 1.6.2 by going under "Edit profile" on the main menu screen.
