Hey,

So Ive started to team up with LucasGreen, and sawine, to help MineTown's videos!

One thing that we have sorta "brought together" is a MTWeekly, news show.

One of the biggest things that i wanted to do by taking this wonderful opportunity is to involve the community as much as possible!

So i've come up with 2 events, yep you read that, 2 events!

Event nubah 1:

MTWeekly Studio!

/warp StudioBuild on the event server!

Read the signs, they have lots of helpful information on how to build a studio!

Event nubah 2:

MTWeekly Intro!

This event is to create a short intro, to start every MTWeekly, ue your imagination, be creative. Music included would be nice.

PRIZES:

8,000 MTC for the Build Event

8,000 MTC for the Intro Event

If you want to donate to a events prize, just tell me, you'll get a sign in the arena, and a big mention in the MTWeekly!

BOTH EVENTS CLOSE @ 8:00 PM EST On SUNDAY THE 29th of SEPTEMBER

Signs are currently non-functional, will be fixed soon!

Update: Signs fixed, you may now claim and build on a plot of your choice!

Should the intro contain "MTWeekly" only? What dimensions are needed?

I would also like to ask, can I be able to join your team?

Information on how to join the MT News team will be released shortly! I am currently waiting for my computer's HDD to be replaced. I should get it back by tomorrow, so you should hear some news (no pun intended) by tomorrow. If you want more information and cant wait, feel free to message myself or Jimbo493!

As for the intro, we prefer 1280 x 720, and for the text "MineTown Weekly"

Ok thanks. I'll just start working on the intro.

Im seeing some awesome progress, remember you can join at any time, its open for 2 whole weeks. And you get creative mode. There is no excuse to not do well. Ill be getting a judging team together soon, and might post those people on here....

Also, if you want to donate some MTC to the overall prize, just PM me!

You might need to enable WorldEdit. It's pretty annoying making walls and floors.

Its a 32x32 block area....

How about extending the build area below the plot of about 10 blocks?
