I was banned today, after a self admitted grief attempted. I was greifing a bridge that I thought was unused as it wasn't protected or on the server last time I was on. Now I haven't played on minetown that much, but from my understanding of some servers, they don't mind the destruction of deserted buildings, in order to gain supplies. Having an empty inventory I decided I would try and collect some wood. I found a deserted pier type structure, took a good look at the surroundings and concluded this building must be deserted. Because of this factor I though it would be okay to take the wood. I was going to fully take the wood and leave the area looking nice and presentable. I also looked for a sign, or any form of identification

I understand that perhaps I should of consulted an admin about this before I began taking the wood. Although I didn't do this. I feel that my actions were wrong and I should of been banned or kicked. I ask for an unban, because i still like minetown , as my donations / posts show, and enjoy the community here.

If i am unbanned I am more than happy to repair the bridge and give away all my gold / diamond from my vault to the actual owner of the pier / bridge area.

So that is about $25 worth of gold received for donating to the server.

If you feel that a permanent ban in necessary then I would like to have someone go into my vault, and donate all my gold to a player of my choice.

I do by no means want to be permantly banned, but I undertstand the concern the staff may have with this event.

I also ask in the consideration of an unban , that the fact I am most active on woodbridge is not considered in my appeal.

Jamie, I was the one that banned you. You logged on for 2 minutes, you went straight to a bridge in spawn town and started taking it apart. This is obviously intentional. I'm really disappointed that it had to be you that stooped to this level. I thought you were better than that. I recommend this ban be made permanent, since obviously Jamie no longer wishes to be a part of this community as seen by his actions.

I second this motion as I witnessed the same. Even if it was unused you don't have the right to take down anything at all without knowing the owners requests, or being the owner of the building/and

I must also add before he even got to the bridge to grief he came to me in spawn town where I was working on a new building, broke some of the glass, kept hitting me, and continued to do so after i kicked him. the fact that he came back on and continued to grief to me says that he is not mature enough to enjoy minetown. Jamie I respected you and also didn't think you would be one to do this but you know as well as I do ANY player that griefs and breaks the rules the way you did today after being warned even by sawine himself that that player no matter what affiliation with others servers would be banned. I hope you can understand that the ban has nothing whatsoever to do with your playing on another server but is based solely on the fact that you blatantly and willfully broke minetown rules even after warning. I suggest this ban be made permanent.

Actually , my ban appeal just specify that I would love to be part of minetown.

Now I understand why this looks bad, but I just though , that if this was unprotected and near spawn, then there must be a reason and that this was okay.

Now I admit this was not right in anyway.

I am annoyed at my self for causing minetown the stress that this has created, as I get along quite well with chester , and now he is annoyed at me.

Even if this ban is made permanant, I hope this dosen't interfere with any friendships I hold with staff, such as chester.

I admire you greatly chester , as I am sure you have gathered from our short conversations in mumble. I like your lifestyle, and coding expertise. I also admire you success in your company you told me about. I have spoken of you to people, as someone I aspire too.

I hope this would not be ruined if I was banned, I hope you would still speak to me with the same respect as always.

Also I know how bad this looks in terms of woodbridge staff, I do not want to represent woodbridge staff in this matter, and feel it was me only I represted.

I want to make clear that anything I have done, please think badly upon me.

I also would like the opportunity to fix the bridge? and get rid of my gold, before the perm is set down.

In summary I am very sorry and very much so would love to become part of minetown again. But I don't think that is going to happen.

I always speak fondly of minetown and when ever someone puts it down, I stop them. I also whitelisted any minetown staff who entered WoodBridge, as an act of gesture.

This is my fault, and I am sorry.

This is nothing to do with woodbridge. Even if you won't unaban me, please consider the fact that this is 100% my fault and nothing to do with WoodBridge.

Jamie I understand your appeal based on breaking an abandoned bridge, BUT that still doesn't answer why you would come up to me, continuously hit me and break the glass AS I WAS PLACING IT.

Guys, I am sorry for what has happened and have donated $5 compensation for the troubles and to show I am still committed to this server, even if banned.

Is defiantly a perm ban?

As I would ask my vault be given to someone and gold?

And I finally would like to say, Sorry. I enjoy minetown. Hope to still assocate well with the community and finally that this was nothing to do with WoodBridge.

Aslo do I still get donator tag on fourm?
