my friends and I were playing on a world together, but now, we ask ourselves: what is the best way to earn xp?

It was a mob tower, but they never decide to fall. And for mobspawners, we have tried but the yield is poor !!!

theres a lot of mechanics involved when making a mob tower. More so then a mob spawner / Grinder.

Mob towers require that you make the spawning area the only "viable" spawning position. You also want the area where you sit and wait to be at the top. Not the bottom. Reason for this is because you want the mobs to spawn but not spawn where they will not be. another way to increase mob tower efficiency is to work on torching the living day lights out of every thing underground. Remove all possible spawning positions by making the caves and such to bright to spawn.

Now for spawners / grinders these are a lot more easier to setup. However......they are very finicky to set up properly. Spawners have a built in mob cap that must be adressed before you can have a high yeild efficient spawner. It also helps to have a double spawner.
