initial crime - funny but inappropriate,

this ban appeal - funny but inappropriate

n0ttsweet - funny but inappropriate.

okay, obviously im not making myself clear.

i AM sorry. I DID NOT mean to cause such a big fuss. my view was that it was a simple manner of a mod left clicking and poof, problem solved.

ive been on minetown for quite some time and while some of my antics are obnoxious, ive never done anything terrible enough to deserve this kind of treatment.

all i want is someone to let me know what to do next. im not trying to fight, start an argument, be some rebel, or whatever else you think im doing.

what exactly is it that you think im after? making some scene? making a point?

look... i got a "you can has no unban yet!" i wasnt ASKING for an unban... as i understood it, you make a ban appeal, then youre told your punishment, then you do your time...

i just wanted to follow the process outlined.... which, mind you, is outlined nowhere...

sure, theres a format, but what does following it mean?

i really dont get it... is someone out to get me? sounds paranoid if you ask me, but i feel like everyone is trying to pull some ""MAKE AN EXAMPLE OF HIM!" nonsense...

youre thinking about server expansion, and at the same time you have no consistent management of server politics..

look at any sufficiently developed countries government. judge the % of politicians/rulers to the population... we are heavily over-staffed if you use a govt example, and yet there is a disconnect between players and staff...

ACTUALLY, until now ive NEVER had a problem talking to staff... somehow a stupid mistake is being mistaken as nothing short of treason or terrorism (to borrow again from a real govt setting)

expecting me to act just like every other person who has ever been banned is silly, noone is the same, and often times people who do the whole "im so sorry, i didnt know, i was stupid, ill never do it again"

ARENT sorry, DID know, ISNT dumb (well maybe they are, or they wouldnt be caught), and WILL do it again...

i thought that perhaps accepting my due punishment like a human being, admitting my fault, and being honest and true to myself would be REFRESHING to the ban committee, however it seems i was misinterpreted as someone who was making a mockery of the ban appeal process, nonchalantly disregarding the serious of my crime, and effectively feeling as thought it didnt matter.

okay, so maybe i expect an unban, well minetown DOES GIVE second chances, and third, and foruth and even fifth in some cases...

most of the staff has been banned (or at least most of the staff i know) noone is perfect, expecting someone to never make a mistake is foolish, we all do it.

....maybe im making another mistake, but im still under the impression that minetown is a place that is fair, and forgiving. run by people who care about the players and the server and put it before their own motives. a place people can make friends, keep friends, and build each other up. a place where people arent judged because they're strange or weird, but accepted and appriciated for them being different. a place where every voice counts and is valued as something unique, an opportunity to bring something special to the server.

a community. a creed. and a home.

but maybe thats lost. maybe now we care more about how things look, instead of how they are. fi you think im a "bad man" who is a trouble maker, who is seeking vengance and acquittal, go ahead perma-ban me. if that were the case and I were you, i would do it too.

but im no Broly, and im not LedgendaryCraft DDOSing the server...

im a guy, who loves MT, who did something petty and foolish, and is sorry.
