when i try to log in my minecraft says either

"took to long to log in"

or

"server returned http response code: 503 for url http://www.minecraft.net/game/joinserver.jsp?user=mikeliskewl&sessionid=-45872942............i am not able to see the rest"

EDIT: also it just said

"failed to login: bad login"

AND

"end of stream

It menas minecraft.net is down

all of those error message mean that?

why cant they just say that minecraft is down ugh

Not all the time.

Alot of the time, you just need to restart client.

Also, check here to see if Minecraft is down.
